Is Citeme Worth It?
Citeme.io sells a 59 € GEO login and euro retainers from 690 €. Software buyers keep treating the dashboard as the product. Here is the live sheet from 28 August 2026.
Citeme will load like a GEO SaaS page. There is a 59 €/mo platform tile, a seven-day trial with no card, Stripe checkout, a GEO Score, and a Beacon script that names GPTBot. Then most of the money on /pricing is a team plan. Essential 690 €. Most Popular 1,190 €. All inclusive 2,590 €. All excluding VAT. Software buyers keep googling it like a tracker SKU. The expensive SKUs are labor.
Whether it is worth it depends on whether you needed a French writing quota or a dashboard you open on Monday. Promptwatch is the second case.

What the vendor actually sells
Homepage engines: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok. GEO Score in the FAQ: visibility 40%, authority 30%, sentiment 30%. Beacon (their AI Search Analytics page): a script, 18-plus bots including GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, Bytespider, Meta AI, five visit types. Integrations on the homepage: WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, GitHub. llms.txt adds LinkedIn and Search Console. Feature pages talk about Actions and five AI SEO agents. Competitive monitoring and a multi-engine audit are on the public list.
None of that is a published crawl-to-citation path from a CDN log. We will not write Beacon as if it were Promptwatch Agent Analytics.

Then keep three tabs open. Homepage: "two done-for-you plans." /pricing: three team SKUs. pricing.md: 9-month -15% at 586 / 1,011 and no All inclusive row. llms.txt: 690 / 1,190 / 59. Proof we will label
Arthur Humeau, CEO of BrandAppart, is a named homepage quote (Gemini cites us). Vendor. Trustpilot artwork is not a score we counted. Homepage figures for ChatGPT at 800M, Similarweb +357%, Semrush 4.4x, Ahrefs about 10% are Citeme-cited third-party stats, not an audit we ran.
On 27 August 2026 they rated Promptwatch 4.0/5 as a direct competitor. Same post: CrowdReply 2.8/5, Omnia 3.4/5. That is their scorecard. Promptwatch Essential remains $95/mo with 50 prompts, 6,000 responses, and five AEO articles on promptwatch.com/llms.txt. We do not adopt their thinner reading of that plan.

When the euro retainer is worth it
You want a Paris team writing a dated number of GEO pages, touching schema and llms.txt, posting on Reddit, and joining a weekly call. You already measure somewhere else. You can live with the plan-sheet conflicts if finance screenshots /pricing on the day you sign. French legal address and a GDPR footer are written down, which some EU procurement sheets actually ask for.
You should not treat 59 € as Promptwatch Essential. Unpublished prompt caps and a read-only trial are a different product shape. Beacon tells you bots hit a script. It does not, on this listing, give you crawl-to-citation or visitor conversions.
When Promptwatch is still the software
Monday numbers: which prompt moved, which URL got cited, whether ChatGPTBot fetched that URL, whether an AI referrer converted. That is Promptwatch. Explore is free (10 ChatGPT prompts). Content Agents to Webflow or Framer if you want software to draft and publish. Visitor analytics if the QBR needs conversions, not a 4-8 leads projection. Citation views that include Reddit and YouTube as analytics, not only as a service line on Most Popular.
Profound is a separate Enterprise-agents track, not #1 in this directory. Otterly.AI and Peec AI stay last even though Citeme's May 2026 blog still argues with Peec on a $49 line.
Verdict
Worth the team SKU if the job is French GEO labor on a public euro grid and you already have measurement. Worth swapping Promptwatch for the 59 € tile: no. Use Promptwatch for crawler logs, citations, conversions, and Content Agents. Product: promptwatch.com.

Homepage copy still says two done-for-you plans. /pricing lists three. pricing.md omits All inclusive and uses a 9-month discount. We report the conflict. We do not invent a fourth sheet.
Is Beacon the same as Agent Analytics?
Not on the materials we used. Beacon is a script plus bot names and five visit types. Promptwatch Agent Analytics is CDN crawler logs and crawl-to-citation from Professional up.
Can I start at 59 € and skip Essential?
You can start the trial. Caps are unpublished. After seven days it is read-only unless you pay. That is not Explore remaining free on 10 ChatGPT prompts.
