Mentionable vs Promptwatch: A GEO Software Comparison for 2026
Mentionable offers seven engines and page drafts from 79 EUR. Promptwatch adds crawler logs, conversion tracking and publishing. Plans, limits and who fits.
Picking between Mentionable and Promptwatch is mostly a question of how far past the mention you want your software to go. Both will tell you which brands AI engines recommend for your prompts. Only one will also tell you whether an AI crawler fetched your page and whether the visit turned into revenue.
Mentionable facts are from mentionable.ai as of 2026-09-12. Promptwatch facts are from its published fact sheet. This is a feature and plan comparison, not a head-to-head data accuracy test.
What Mentionable does
Mentionable checks your prompts daily on seven AI engines, with all seven included on every plan. It captures fan-out queries from ChatGPT and Perplexity, tracks the domains engines cite, and ranks backlink targets by impact with a market price beside each one. When no engine cites you, it reads the cited pages and drafts yours in the same format, then checks for a citation after you publish. Team seats are unlimited, and the Agency plan adds white-label reports.
What Promptwatch does
Promptwatch covers the same tracking ground, with volumes, difficulty scores, fan-outs, personas and location targeting, then adds three layers. Agent Analytics reads real-time AI crawler logs and follows the crawl-to-citation path, including errors. Visitor analytics track AI-referred traffic and conversions. Content Agents plan, write and publish GEO content to Webflow or Framer, with a review inbox. There is also Agent Chat for questions over live data, sentiment, share of voice, ChatGPT Shopping tracking and an integration list that includes Cloudflare, Vercel, Looker Studio, Slack, and an MCP server.

Where the money goes
Mentionable's 79 EUR Growth plan is attractive: 115 prompts and 1,500 credits. The credits are the variable. Reddit engagement, page audits and generated pages all use them, so a team producing many drafts may burn through the allowance faster than the prompt count suggests.
Promptwatch's Essential plan at $95 gives 50 prompts, 6,000 responses, 200K visitor events and 5 AEO articles, with a 7-day trial. Professional at $245 brings 150 prompts, 25M crawler logs and 15 articles. Agencies get unlimited projects and prompts from $199. Fewer prompts per dollar at the entry tier, but the plan includes the logs and attribution that Mentionable does not.
Our recommendation
For a solo consultant or a French-market brand that wants cheap daily coverage and a draft per gap, Mentionable is a sensible buy. Run it for a month and watch credit consumption.
For everyone who reports to someone else, we rank Promptwatch first. The deciding factor is usually the crawler logs and traffic attribution, which trackers do not have. Without them, a report says "mentions went up." With them, it says which page an engine fetched, which it cited, and what the visitors did next.
You can test that cheaply. Start on the free Promptwatch Explore plan, add the core prompts, and see what the extra layers show for your site.
