Onclusive vs Sprinklr vs BrandRank.AI vs Meltwater (2026): AI visibility tools for PR and comms teams

Four AI visibility tools built for communications teams, compared on engines, refresh, pricing and how you buy them. Plus where Promptwatch fits when marketing owns AI search.

A comms team's question about AI search is less "do we rank in ChatGPT" and more "what is ChatGPT telling people about us, and which coverage is it drawing on". Four vendors now sell an answer to that question to PR and comms buyers: Onclusive GEO Analytics, Sprinklr LLM Insights, BrandRank.AI and Meltwater GenAI Lens.

Three are modules inside platforms you may already own, and BrandRank.AI stands alone. That decides more purchases than any feature row below.

Onclusive GEO Analytics

Onclusive announced its module on 26 May 2026, and it is the most PR-native of the four. It sits beside Onclusive's earned media analytics, so AI answers land in the same reports as press coverage. The feature comms teams will use most is Priority Source Targets, which scores the publications and domains AI engines cite by impact and effort. That turns citation data into a pitch list.

Onclusive also publishes prices, which is rare in this group. The catch is the tiering. Starter at $105 a month is ChatGPT only in one country. Claude and Grok first appear on Professional at $1,255 a month, and all of these are annual-plan rates. Every Get Started button leads to a demo form.

Sprinklr LLM Insights

Sprinklr's angle is prompt sourcing. It suggests five prompt pillars from your last 60 days of social listening and generates 50 prompts by default, drawing on reviews, community, news and customer care data. For a big consumer brand, those are closer to what real customers ask.

It is also the youngest, announced on 10 June 2026 as a limited preview with general availability planned for Q3 2026. Pricing runs on contracted prompts, and every refresh uses them up: 50 prompts refreshed daily burns 50 prompts a day. You can't buy it without Sprinklr Insights.

BrandRank.AI

BrandRank.AI is the one built for the boardroom. It tracks seven engines daily and reports Recommendation Share, its own measure of how often an answer names you as the pick. The Brand Risk Monitor scores answers across seven damage categories, and on the Strategist tier a named strategist reviews findings every quarter. The pitch explicitly includes legal, HR and investor relations.

It is also the slowest to buy: no public prices, annual terms, and a demo and pilot before you start.

Meltwater GenAI Lens

GenAI Lens, launched in 2025, suits teams that already work in Meltwater. It reports prevalence scores, AI share of voice, cited sources, competitor benchmarks and sentiment for ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews. The May 2026 release added AI recommendations and generated executive reports. Meltwater also pairs AI citations with the journalist and outlet contacts in its media relations tool, which is useful when the next step is outreach.

The refresh runs every 48 hours, the engine list is the shortest here, and pricing isn't published.

Which comms tool to pick

Start with what you already pay for. An Onclusive, Sprinklr or Meltwater customer should trial the module inside their own platform first, because the value is in seeing AI answers beside the coverage they already report on. Onclusive is strongest for teams that want a pitch list, Sprinklr for brands whose customer conversations make the best prompts. Meltwater suits teams already working from its media contacts. BrandRank.AI is the one to consider when the concern is reputational risk and a senior audience wants a strategist's sign-off.

Where Promptwatch fits

None of these four documents AI crawler logs, AI-referred traffic tracking, or publishing new pages straight to a CMS. (BrandRank.AI's Orchestrator tier lists technical content authoring, but not CMS publishing.) That is fine for a comms team measuring narrative. It becomes a problem when marketing owns AI search and has to show results on the website.

That's the job Promptwatch is built for, and when marketing owns the budget it is our pick over all four. It covers the major chat engines plus Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, with citation analytics down to Reddit threads and YouTube videos. Agent Analytics (from the $245 Professional plan) shows which AI crawlers reached your pages. Visitor analytics ties AI-referred sessions to conversions, and Content Agents publish new pages to Webflow or Framer. It is self-serve, with a free Explore tier and paid brand plans from $95 a month.

For a comms team that keeps its PR tool, Promptwatch is the layer to add. Earned media gets you cited; crawler logs and conversion data show whether that citation brought anyone to the site.

FAQ

Which of these tools publishes prices?

Only Onclusive. Its annual plans start at $105, $280 and $1,255 a month, with Enterprise on custom pricing. Sprinklr, BrandRank.AI and Meltwater don't publish a price.

Do any of these show AI crawler activity on my site?

None of the four documents it. Promptwatch's Agent Analytics logs ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and other AI crawlers, starting on the Professional plan.
