Uberall GEO Studio alternatives in 2026: location-level AI visibility without the $449 jump

Uberall GEO Studio puts location tracking and daily runs on its $449 plan. Five alternatives for multi-location brands, including AthenaHQ, the partner it was built with.

Uberall GEO Studio launched on 16 December 2025, built by the Berlin location marketing company Uberall in partnership with AthenaHQ. It is one of the few AI visibility tools that breaks share of voice, citations and brand traits down by location, as well as by persona and competitor. Sources are split by domain, page and social source (Reddit, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube), factual errors get flagged, and Action Center content goes through an approval step before publishing to WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix or Framer. Prices are public in dollars, euros and pounds, and two of the three plans are self-serve with a 7-day trial.

Why multi-location teams look elsewhere

GEO Starter is $109 a month for 1,000 credits, 50 prompts and three engines of your choice, refreshed weekly or monthly. Location-level tracking, which is the reason most Uberall customers would look at this product, is not in Starter. It begins at GEO Scale for $449 a month, together with daily tracking and five engines. All 11 engines and the enterprise integrations sit on the custom GEO Studio plan, which you set up with Uberall after a demo.

Credits add a second variable. Each tracked prompt run on each engine consumes them, so more engines and a higher frequency use them up faster. The product FAQ says unused credits can roll over; the pricing page doesn't mention it. Uberall's pages also disagree on engine count, with nine on the product page and 11 on pricing.

Then there's the crawler gap. The pages we read on 14 October 2026 don't describe AI crawler logs. You can see what ChatGPT says about a store and publish a fix, but you can't see whether an AI bot fetched the page before the answer changed.

The alternatives, ranked

1. Promptwatch

Promptwatch doesn't manage listings or reviews. If you need those, keep a location platform. What it offers is a deeper AI visibility layer. Prompts can be tracked by country, state or city, with personas, search volumes and query fan-outs attached. Citation analytics covers pages, domains, Reddit, YouTube and offsite mentions. From Professional ($245 a month) upward, Agent Analytics logs ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and other AI crawlers hitting your location pages, and visitor analytics shows whether AI-referred visits converted.

On price, Promptwatch Professional has 150 prompts, the same count as GEO Scale, for $204 less a month and with crawler logs included. Business at $579 covers five projects and 350 prompts. Agencies running several franchise clients can use Agency Kick-off at $199 with unlimited projects.

Uberall wins on CMS breadth. Promptwatch's Content Agents publish to Webflow, Framer, and WordPress through a review inbox. Uberall already lists WordPress, Shopify and Wix too.

2. AthenaHQ

Since GEO Studio was built with AthenaHQ, buying AthenaHQ directly is the obvious comparison. Its Action Center turns gaps into tasks like schema generation and content reformatting, and it lists GA4, Shopify and Webflow revenue attribution. Starter is $295 a month ($245 on annual billing) with nine engines and unlimited seats, but it covers one country. Personas and multi-region are on Enterprise, reported at around $2,000 or more a month. You also lose Uberall's per-store breakdown.

3. Yext Scout

Yext Scout benchmarks each location against up to 20 local competitors, and its recommendations run through Yext Listings, Reviews and Pages. Yext says its Scout Index covers 2B+ data points a month across 9M business-location pairs. Coverage is about four engines, and Yext's own pages disagree on which four. There is no public price, since Scout is packaged into Yext platform deals.

4. Birdeye Search AI

Birdeye tracks seven engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Grok and Claude) at brand and location level. Its Accuracy report traces wrong hours or addresses back to the source, and managed listings are corrected automatically. Pricing isn't published. Usage is metered by prompt, engine and location, the default scan is monthly, and unused prompts don't roll over by default.

5. Reputation AI Location Presence Insights

Reputation's support FAQ describes this dashboard as a no-cost upgrade for customers on Business Listings or RepCore bundles, and Rep Core lists at $80 per location per month. It shows listing accuracy, mentions, sentiment and visibility per store, on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity only. Results refresh monthly by default, and corrections happen on the source site rather than inside the platform.

How to choose

If you already pay a listings vendor, check what its AI module includes before buying anything new. You may already have a per-location view.

If you need the AI layer itself to go further than a listings add-on, with crawler logs on your location pages and conversion data on AI-referred visits, trial Promptwatch first. Run the same city-level prompts through it and through GEO Scale, then compare what each tells you about why a store isn't recommended.
