Ubersuggest AI Search Visibility alternatives in 2026: more engines, faster refreshes
Ubersuggest tracks ChatGPT and Gemini and refreshes 10 prompts once a month on its entry plan. Five alternatives for small teams who want more than a monthly glance.
Ubersuggest AI Search Visibility is the AI module inside Neil Patel's SEO suite. It reports a visibility score, share of voice against the competitors you track, the full AI answer text and per-platform sentiment, all inside the same project as your rankings and site audits. If you already pay for Ubersuggest, switching it on costs nothing extra. An MCP integration, a ChatGPT app and a Claude plugin come with it.
As a standalone AI visibility tool it is thin.
Why people outgrow it
Engine coverage is the first wall. The Ubersuggest homepage FAQ says ChatGPT and Gemini are tracked on paid plans, Google AI Overview only on Enterprise/Agency, and Perplexity, Claude, Grok and Copilot not at all. One glossary file on the vendor's site says otherwise; we went with the FAQ because it is the more explicit statement.
Refresh speed is the second. Individual, at $29 a month, refreshes 10 prompts per project once a month with one response per prompt. Business at $49 runs 15 prompts every two weeks, and Enterprise/Agency at $99 runs 20 weekly with three responses per prompt. On the entry plan, a change in how ChatGPT describes you can sit unnoticed for weeks.
The rest is fine print. The pricing FAQ says there are no API access plans. Lifetime deals ($290, $490 or $990) turn AI prompts into on-demand runs and can't be refunded. The 7-day trial needs a credit card, and AI responses draw on the same credit pool as keyword refreshes.

The alternatives, ranked
1. Promptwatch
Promptwatch's Explore plan tracks 10 ChatGPT prompts for one project at no cost. That matches the prompt count on Ubersuggest Individual, which does include an SEO suite for the money. When you need more, Essential is $95 a month for 50 prompts, 6,000 responses, 200K visitor events and five AEO articles, with a 7-day trial.
That is a bigger bill than Ubersuggest, and it buys a different kind of product. Promptwatch monitors ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek, Copilot, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, among others. Citation analytics shows which pages, Reddit threads and YouTube videos the answers lean on. Visitor analytics connects AI referrals to conversions. Content Agents draft GEO articles and publish them to Webflow or Framer. Crawler logs start on Professional at $245. Developers get a REST API and an MCP server, where Ubersuggest offers MCP but no API plans.
Ubersuggest still wins if you want keyword research, site audits and backlinks under the same login. Promptwatch is not an SEO suite.
2. Morningscore
Morningscore is the closest match in spirit: a friendly SEO tool for small businesses with AI checks built in. Lite is $69 a month and Business $99. The ChatGPT prompt tracker runs weekly (10 prompts on Lite, 100 on Business), AI Overviews checks run daily on every tracked keyword, and a GEO Score rates you and your competitors across 100 industry prompts. The 14-day trial doesn't need a card. Morningscore deliberately sticks to Google and ChatGPT, so Gemini, Perplexity and Claude aren't covered.
3. Mangools AI Search Watcher
If engine coverage is your main complaint, look at Mangools. AI Search Watcher covers eight engines (ChatGPT, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Mistral and Llama), runs each prompt several times to produce steadier averages, and is included in the Mangools Basic, Premium and Agency plans. The watcher page doesn't show plan prices. It tracks only; there's no content generation.
4. SE Ranking AI Tracker
SE Ranking suits teams that want a fuller SEO suite with AI tracking attached. The AI Search add-on starts at $89 a month for 200 checks across five engines, on top of a core suite at about $129 a month. One check is one prompt on one engine, so tracking a prompt across five engines uses five checks. Agencies get white-label reporting.
5. Keyword.com AI Visibility
Keyword.com starts at $9.80 a month for 20 credits, or $7.83 a month billed annually. Its docs list six engines, and every plan includes unlimited users, an API and an MCP server. Twenty credits cover roughly five prompts on four chat engines at a weekly refresh, so this is a cheap upgrade on refresh speed and engines rather than on volume.
How to choose
If AI tracking is a box to tick next to your SEO tools, pick Morningscore, Mangools or SE Ranking by whichever suite you'd rather work in.
If AI search is a channel you need to grow, the gap is everything after the mention check: which source the answer used, whether an AI crawler visited, whether the visit converted. Start on the free Promptwatch Explore plan with the same 10 prompts you track in Ubersuggest, and see whether the citation data changes what you'd work on next.
FAQ
Does Ubersuggest track Perplexity or Claude?
No. Its homepage FAQ says Perplexity, Claude, Grok and Copilot are not tracked. Paid plans cover ChatGPT and Gemini, with Google AI Overview on Enterprise/Agency.
What's the cheapest way to cover more AI engines than Ubersuggest?
Keyword.com from $9.80 a month covers six engines on credits. Promptwatch Explore is free but limited to ChatGPT.
Is an Ubersuggest lifetime plan a good deal for AI tracking?
Not for ongoing tracking. Lifetime plans run AI prompts on demand only, with no scheduled refreshes, and the purchase is non-refundable.
