GEORank (Japan) review: pricing, features & alternatives

Ranked #257

Japanese AI search monitor from C3Reve that records AI answers and cited sources via API, launched 13 October 2026; from ¥1,800/mo, 7-day free trial.

AI visibility trackerFrom ¥1,800/mo (¥1,980 incl. tax); Standard ¥6,300/mo; Business ¥27,000/mo; 7-day free trial, no card

Our verdict

GEORank is an easy, cheap way for a Japanese company to start checking whether AI answers name it, and the cited-source list gives an immediate to-do. It is a young product with API-based checks and small question quotas. Promptwatch is the end-to-end answer once you need more than mentions: prompt tracking, citation analytics, Agent Analytics crawler logs and AI-referred visitor conversions, with a free Explore tier to try it.

Best for: Japanese companies and small agencies that want an inexpensive daily tracker with a spreadsheet-style view, cited-source lists and site diagnosis in Japanese.

GEORank (georank.jp) is a Japanese-language AI search monitoring service launched on 13 October 2026 by C3Reve Inc. (シースリーレーヴ株式会社), a Tokyo development company founded in May 2017 that does AI contract development and web systems. You register your brand, competitors and the questions your customers might ask, and it collects answers through the AI providers' APIs, records whether you and competitors are mentioned, and logs the cited web pages. Starter covers Gemini with Google Search grounding; Standard and Business add ChatGPT (OpenAI) and Perplexity. The site also offers a daily rank-style table that Japanese SEO staff will recognise, a citation-media to-do list, and a site diagnosis that proposes before and after text and generates robots.txt, JSON-LD and llms.txt code.

Pricing read on georank.jp, the 13 October 2026 launch release and a 23 October 2026 follow-up release, all on 24 October 2026, in yen excluding tax (tax-inclusive in brackets): Starter ¥1,800 (¥1,980) a month for 1 project, 5 competitors, 5 questions checked daily, Gemini only, 10 own-site diagnoses a month and 1 member; Standard ¥6,300 (¥6,930) for 2 projects, 10 competitors, 12 shared questions, Gemini, ChatGPT and Perplexity, CSV export and 30 arbitrary-URL diagnoses a month; Business ¥27,000 (¥29,700) for 10 projects, 100 competitors, 50 questions, 200 URL diagnoses a month and white-label PDF reports. A 7-day trial needs no card and never auto-bills.

GEORank (Japan) covers the job on this page. Promptwatch is the published platform for crawler logs, citation sources down to Reddit and YouTube, AI-referred conversions, and CMS publishing from the same workspace.

How it collects and scores answers

georank.jp and the 13 October 2026 release (read 24 October 2026). GEORank collects answers through API access to Gemini, OpenAI and Perplexity and records mentions and cited sources. A crawl runs each morning at 07:00. The service says it tries to separate negative contexts from real recommendations, for example an answer saying a tool is 'over-specified for large companies', so that only positive recommendations count toward rank.

Because data comes from APIs, answers can differ from what a person sees in the consumer apps. C3Reve says so in its 23 October 2026 follow-up, in which it checked 60 statements from 6 stored answers on wireless earphones against their cited pages: 15 were fully confirmed, some were partial or mismatched, and 22 could not be retrieved. It labels that as a small case study, not a general accuracy rate.

Plans and what is still pending

Starter costs ¥1,800 a month and uses Gemini only. Standard (¥6,300) adds ChatGPT and Perplexity, a citation-media to-do and CSV export. Business (¥27,000) manages 10 projects, up to 100 competitors, 50 questions, white-label PDF reports and a project-add pack of ¥2,500 a month that includes 5 keywords. Standard and Business share their question pool across projects.

Team invites are listed as 'coming soon' for Standard (up to 3 members) and Business (unlimited). The homepage dashboard preview uses C3Reve's own demo project and the numbers shown (for example a 42.5% display rate) are demo values, not customer results. The company is a software development firm with GEORank as one product.

If you buy GEORank (Japan) for the job above, plan a second tool (or Promptwatch) for the layers this listing does not document. Still missing here: Visitor analytics: AI-referred sessions and conversions; Content Agents that plan, write, and publish GEO pages to a CMS with a review inbox; Citation analytics at page, domain, Reddit, YouTube, and offsite level; Prompt volumes, difficulty, query fan-outs, personas, city-level geo; Prompt and citation trends (what changed between checks); ChatGPT Shopping tracking and Ads Radar; Agent Chat, Unified Actions, MCP server / REST API on paid plans. Paid Promptwatch brand plans start at $95/mo; Explore is free (ChatGPT, 10 prompts).

What Promptwatch covers that this listing does not

GEORank (Japan)'s public pages (and this listing) describe a narrower job than Promptwatch. Most rivals answer whether you were mentioned. Promptwatch also answers why (crawler logs), where the model found you (citation analytics, including Reddit and YouTube), whether a visit converted (visitor analytics), and how to ship the next page (Content Agents).

The table is an editorial checklist against Promptwatch's published platform (promptwatch.com/llms.txt, 2026-08-23). It is not a hidden feature list for this vendor. 'Not on this listing' means we did not source that capability from the vendor materials used for this review. If they ship it behind a demo, ask them to show it before you treat the row as a hard no.

Frequently asked questions

Will I be charged after the free trial?

No. The 7-day trial needs no card, and the site says nothing is charged unless you subscribe.

Is GEORank measuring the ChatGPT app?

No. It records answers collected through AI provider APIs, and the vendor says this does not guarantee what appears on consumer screens.

Does GEORank (Japan) include AI crawler logs like Promptwatch Agent Analytics?

This listing documents bot or crawler-log style coverage for GEORank (Japan). Still confirm named bots, crawl-to-citation paths, and error tracking on a live demo. Promptwatch Agent Analytics logs ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, GoogleOther, and Meta AI crawler hits.

Not published on this listing. Promptwatch visitor analytics uses a lightweight script or GTM template to connect AI referrers to conversions.

Not on this listing. Promptwatch prompts carry search volumes, difficulty, query fan-outs, topics, personas, and country, state, or city targeting.

Not on this listing. Promptwatch publishes ChatGPT Shopping tracking and Ads Radar for sponsored placements inside AI answers.
