AIShortlist review (2026): weekly tracking with edits matched to your own pages
AIShortlist tracks ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity weekly from $29/mo, with Turkish or English questions and page edits checked against your own copy. Plans, gaps and the better buy.
What AIShortlist is, and who it's for
AIShortlist is an AI visibility tracker from Vera Danışmanlık, a company in Istanbul. There is a Turkish site priced in lira and an English site priced in US dollars. Each week it asks ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity your approved buyer questions through their official APIs, with web search switched on, and reports a visibility score, share of voice, rank and the full answers.
Measurement is only half of it, though. The paid plans add advice on what to change next: a crawl of your site with page speed and AI bot access checks, text replacements matched word for word against your existing pages, action plans for getting onto "best X" list pages, suggestions for new pages, and checks on whether the facts AI states about you are right. Question sets can be in Turkish or English, with a country or city for each set.
It suits Turkish and English-language SMBs and agencies that want a weekly score and a concrete list of edits, rather than a dashboard to interpret.

Add-ons include Google Ads and Meta management at $29 a month per site, a Shopify app listed as in review, and a one-time $49 ExpressionEngine plugin that runs on your own API keys. Cancelling stops renewal, and paid periods aren't refunded.
What works
The edit suggestions are the best part. AIShortlist matches proposed text replacements against what's already on your page, so a suggestion doesn't introduce a statistic your site never stated. An edit you can paste in without re-checking every number saves real time.
Turkish-language question sets with a city per set are rare among trackers. If you sell in Istanbul and Izmir, you can measure each separately. The free trial needs no card, and $29 is a low entry price for weekly data plus a site crawl.
Before you pay: five checks
- Engines. Only ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity are tracked. Claude, Copilot and Google AI Overviews are not.
- Cadence. Most questions are measured once a week. Daily tracking covers 5 hand-picked questions on Growth ($199), 15 on Pro and 40 on Agency.
- Data source. Answers come from the engines' official APIs with web search on. Ask how close that is to what a logged-in user sees in the ChatGPT app.
- Developer access. API and MCP arrive on Pro at $499 a month, and they're read-only.
- The price on the page. The English pricing page's title says "then from $79 a month", while the page itself lists Lite at $29. Confirm at checkout which applies.

Where it falls short of a full platform
Three engines measured weekly give a thin basis for a report someone has to sign off. The suggestions tell you what to change, but AIShortlist doesn't publish to a CMS (beyond its add-on plugins) and doesn't show whether AI crawlers came back to read the edited page. There's no visitor analytics or conversion tracking in the plans either, so a better visibility score can't be tied to revenue.
When Promptwatch is the better buy
Once the numbers have to stand up in a meeting, Promptwatch is the stronger choice. Prompts run daily across every tracked engine, including Claude, Copilot and Google AI Overviews. Citation analytics breaks sources down to pages, domains, Reddit threads and YouTube videos, so you can see which list pages actually feed the answers before you chase them. Content Agents plan and write fixes and publish them to WordPress, Webflow or Framer through a review inbox, with content gap analysis built in.
The plan to compare is Essential at $95 a month: 50 prompts on every tracked LLM, daily refresh, 5 AEO articles, MCP and API access. That matches AIShortlist Growth on question count and beats it on engines and refresh, at under half the price. Professional at $245 adds 150 prompts, crawler logs through Agent Analytics and visitor analytics with conversions, and still costs about half of AIShortlist Pro.
Verdict
AIShortlist is a practical weekly tracker with better guidance than most, and the edits-matched-to-your-copy approach is clever. It's one of very few tools that handles Turkish questions. The limits are three engines, weekly sampling and a $499 price for API access. For a Turkish SMB that wants a cheap weekly score, Lite is fine. For anyone reporting results upward, Promptwatch Essential gives more data for less.
