Best GEO Tools for Healthcare Marketing Agencies in 2026

GEO tools ranked for agencies serving clinics, dental groups, hospital systems, and health brands: answer accuracy, sentiment, city tracking, Reddit and YouTube sources, and personas.

A healthcare marketing agency carries a mixed roster. A regional dental group with 14 practices. A hospital system with a cardiology department that wants referrals. A physiotherapy chain. A consumer health brand that sells nationally and never thinks about cities at all. Each one asks the same new question: what do ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google's AI answers say about us?

For these clients, "are we mentioned" is only half the report. The other half is whether the mention is correct. An AI answer that lists a clinic with last year's address, a service it dropped, or a tone borrowed from one angry review does more harm than not appearing. So a GEO tool for a healthcare agency gets judged on how well it lets you read, score, and trace each answer, not just count it. This guide ranks the tools that do that. Competitor details come from each tool's entry in our directory. Promptwatch details come from its llms.txt, read on 2026-10-21.

What to monitor for healthcare clients

Answer accuracy comes first, and it needs three things. You need the full response text, because a visibility score hides a wrong opening time. You need a sentiment score, so the answers that describe a practice badly rise to the top of the queue. And you need the citation sources, because the fix goes to whatever page the engine read, which is often a directory or a review site rather than the client's own location page.

Local results matter for anything with a front door. "Pediatric dentist near me" or "walk-in physio open Saturday" gets a different answer in each town. A national number tells a 14-practice group nothing about the three practices that are missing.

Reddit and YouTube matter more than most clients expect. AI engines cite both, and a patient-made video or a long Reddit thread can shape how an answer describes a provider. The agency needs to see when that happens.

Personas round it out. A patient searching for a knee specialist and a GP looking for somewhere to refer that patient ask different questions. Hospital systems and specialist clinics usually care about both, and they should be tracked separately.

A note on compliance

We don't make compliance claims for any tool here, and you shouldn't make them to clients on a vendor's behalf. Where a directory entry carries a vendor's own statement, we name whose statement it is. One practical point does hold for every tool: prompt tracking runs public-style questions, so there's no reason to put patient information into it. Keep prompts generic and your client's privacy team will have a much shorter review.

1. Promptwatch

Promptwatch covers all four of those needs, and it does it on agency pricing. Every agency plan includes country, state, and city tracking, so each practice's city gets its own result. On brand plans that starts at Business ($579 a month), since Professional is country-level only, which makes the agency plans the cheaper route for a multi-practice client.

For accuracy, every response gets a sentiment score from 1 to 100, with sentiment trends and a weekly AI summary. The Brand Book takes up to 1,000 characters of analysis instructions that steer how responses are read, so you can tell it which services a practice does and doesn't offer. Brand aliases catch a practice that still trades under an older name. Page Tracker follows a specific URL, such as a location page or a competitor's, and shows the prompts and responses that cite it.

Sources are where it pulls ahead for this vertical. Citation analytics shows the pages and domains behind each answer, and there are dedicated Reddit and YouTube reports (subreddits, upvotes, and comments on one side, videos, channels, and engagement on the other). My channels filters those reports to the client's own accounts. Offsite Mentions catches the client named in third-party pages that AI cites, even without a link.

Personas with persona stacking let you track the patient and the referrer as separate audiences. Agency plans are Kick-off at $199 a month, Growth at $399, and Scale at $799, each with unlimited projects and prompts, 10 seats, crawler logs, and visitor analytics with conversions.

2. Birdeye Search AI

Birdeye Search AI is the strongest accuracy tool among the listings platforms. Its Accuracy report checks whether answers get hours and addresses right and traces errors to the source, and listings Birdeye manages are corrected automatically. Sentiment, Citations, and Ranking reports sit alongside it, across seven engines including Claude, Grok, AI Mode, and AI Overviews.

Our listing notes that Birdeye's product page states SOC 2 Type II certification, GDPR compliance, and HIPAA compliance, and that it targets healthcare and dental groups. That's Birdeye's claim, so ask for the documentation. Pricing isn't published, the default scan is monthly, and prompt bundles can only be downgraded at renewal.

3. Uberall GEO Studio

Uberall GEO Studio has two features that fit healthcare directly: hallucination detection that flags factual errors, and a source breakdown that includes Reddit, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. It also tracks brand traits and share of voice by persona, location, and competitor. Location-level tracking needs GEO Scale at $449 a month. GEO Starter at $109 has three engines and weekly or monthly runs.

4. Proofsource

Proofsource is built around being able to defend each number. Wrong-fact detection points to the likely source page, every percentage carries a 95% confidence interval, and every answer is kept with its sources. The agency workspace is free, with client logins and white-label reports, and each client is priced per question per engine from $9 a month. Only four engines are self-serve (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, AI Overviews), and our listing doesn't describe city tracking.

5. Reputation AI Location Presence Insights

Reputation AI Location Presence Insights checks address, phone, and hours in ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity answers practice by practice, with sentiment and topic sentiment. Its Fix Inaccurate Citations view compares the Reputation profile with each engine's answer and links to the source site. It's a no-cost upgrade on Rep Core at $80 per location a month, per Reputation's FAQ. Reputation's own guide warns that its API-based results may differ from the consumer apps, and location results refresh monthly by default.

6. Local Falcon

Local Falcon shows how an answer changes across a practice's catchment area, by running the same prompt from every point of a geo-grid. For tone, it reports the phrases AI uses about the business with sentiment, a Buyer Persuasion Score from -10 to +10, the sources AI draws on, and the competitors it names instead. Starter is $24.99 a month for 7,500 credits, and a single 9x9 scan uses 81.

7. Synup AEO

Synup AEO runs 16 Synup-written local prompts per location and reports sentiment phrases plus citation coverage split into active, detected but not cited, and missing sources. That last view is a tidy listings to-do list for a clinic group. Reports refresh monthly with no mid-month rerun, and white-label starts on Premium at $299 for up to 10 locations.

Setting up a healthcare client

Build the prompt set by service line and city, not by brand. "Emergency dentist in Leeds" and "teeth whitening cost Leeds" are separate prompts with separate competitors. Add a few referral prompts written from a clinician's point of view if the client takes referrals, and run them under their own persona.

Write the Brand Book or equivalent notes before the first run: services offered, services not offered, current addresses, former names. Then set a weekly review where someone reads the lowest-sentiment answers in full and traces each one to its source. Most fixes will land on directory listings and the client's own location pages. Some will land on a Reddit thread or a YouTube video, and those need a different plan, usually a better owned page on the same topic rather than a reply.

The recommendation

For a healthcare agency, the report that earns trust shows whether each answer is right, and where the engine got it when it's wrong. Promptwatch answers that in one workspace on an agency plan: sentiment on every response, city tracking for each practice, and citation analytics that reaches into the Reddit threads and YouTube videos other tools leave out. Start on Kick-off or Growth at Promptwatch with your largest clinic group, and read the Promptwatch review for plan details.
