CiteLyzer vs AIrketing (2026): two cheap European trackers, daily or weekly?
CiteLyzer runs daily scans from €15/mo in 17 countries. AIrketing runs weekly from €16/mo but puts AI answers, Google rank and the local pack in one row per city. Which to buy.
CiteLyzer and AIrketing are both European AI visibility trackers that cost about as much as a lunch. CiteLyzer, from Poland, gives you daily AI answers and stops there. AIrketing, from Spain, runs weekly but lines up AI answers, Google organic rank and the local pack per prompt and per city, and connects GA4 conversions to prompts. So the question is whether you want speed or context.
Both vendors' pricing pages were read on 20 October 2026. All euro prices exclude VAT. Promptwatch sits in the table as the benchmark for a team that outgrows either.

How CiteLyzer works
CiteLyzer reads your website, suggests competitors and buyer questions, then saves the full answers from ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode every day. Perplexity joins on the €129 Pro plan. Each mention gets one of three labels: recommended with conviction, mentioned without endorsement, or advised against. That label is more useful than a yes or no, because being named as the option to avoid is still a "mention" in most trackers.
The dashboard covers presence, share of voice, cited rate, average rank, cited sources and a ranked fix list. Measurement runs in 17 countries, from Austria to the US, with prompts in Dutch, English, French, German, Polish, Slovak or Spanish. The app and checkout are in English.
Two catches. Prompt pools are small: 15 on Mini, and Standard's 50 are shared across all your brands. And there's no trial. You can buy a €15 one-off report, no account needed, to see the output first. CiteLyzer sells to businesses only, and checkout asks for a company VAT ID.
How AIrketing works
AIrketing runs each prompt once a week on ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overview and plain Google Search, from the country, city and language you set for that prompt. It separates a mention from a linked citation and records citation position.
The view to look at is the per-prompt row. Organic rank, AI answers and the Google local pack (nearby competitors, ratings and reviews) sit together, which is what a Madrid dentist or a Valencia law firm actually needs to see. Stability labels classify each prompt per model as always, sometimes or never present over 4, 12 or 24 weeks. That is a sensible way to read answers that change every run, though it needs at least three weeks of data before it says anything.
Every plan has the same features. You pay for brands and prompts: 20 prompts on Pro, 130 on Business (€79, or €71 annually) and 240 on Agencia. The weekly cadence is the limit, and Claude, Copilot and Grok aren't covered.
Questions to ask before buying
- CiteLyzer: is my market among the 17 countries, and can I write prompts in my clients' language?
- CiteLyzer: if I add a fourth client on Standard, how do 50 shared prompts split across brands?
- AIrketing: is a weekly reading fast enough for the reports my clients expect?
- AIrketing: how does the GA4 attribution assign a conversion to a specific prompt?
- Both: will you add Claude, and do you plan an API?
Who should pick which
Pick CiteLyzer if you are a freelancer or small agency adding AI visibility to existing client reports and you want daily data in a local language for the least money. The framing label is a real plus.
Pick AIrketing if your clients are local businesses in Spain, or anywhere city matters. The organic plus AI plus local-pack row, together with GA4 conversions per prompt, gives more context than CiteLyzer. You just get it once a week.
The Promptwatch option
Both tools answer "were we named?" Neither shows why. When a client asks why a competitor gets cited and they don't, the answer usually sits in two places these tools don't reach. One is which pages and sources the engines actually cite, down to Reddit threads and YouTube videos, which Promptwatch's citation analytics shows. The other is whether AI crawlers ever fetched the client's pages, which Agent Analytics shows from server logs.
Promptwatch Essential at $95 a month includes 50 prompts on every tracked LLM, refreshed daily, with prices also available in euros. For agencies, Kick-off at $199 a month has unlimited projects and prompts, 10 seats and 10M crawler logs, which removes the shared-pool problem both of these tools have. City-level tracking, the thing that makes AIrketing attractive, is on Professional and on every agency plan.
Verdict
CiteLyzer is the best value if you want daily data at entry price. AIrketing is the better tool for local businesses, at the cost of a weekly cadence. Agencies that bill for results rather than screenshots should run the program on Promptwatch, where crawler logs, citation sources and conversions sit next to the prompt data.
