Our verdict

CiteLyzer is a tidy, cheap tracker that does the basics well: daily runs, stored answers, a sensible framing label and real local-language measurement across 17 countries. It is a good first step for a freelancer adding AI visibility to a client report. It is not much more than that, with no Claude or Copilot and nothing on crawlers or traffic. When a client asks why they are or are not cited, Promptwatch's citation analytics and Agent Analytics crawler logs answer that question, and its visitor analytics show what the AI mentions are worth.

Best for: Freelancers, small agencies and SMEs in Central and Western Europe who want daily tracking in their own language for very little money.

CiteLyzer is a self-serve AI visibility tracker run by SOLID SOFTWARE Piotr Czerwiński in Poland. It suggests competitors and buyer questions from your website, then saves the full answers from ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode and (on Pro) Perplexity every day. Each mention is classified as recommended with conviction, mentioned without endorsement or advised against. The dashboard shows presence, share of voice, cited rate, average rank, cited sources and a ranked list of fixes. Measurement runs in 17 countries and 7 prompt languages (Dutch, English, French, German, Polish, Slovak, Spanish); the marketing site is in those 7 languages, while the app and checkout are in English. It sells to businesses only.

Pricing read on citelyzer.com/pricing on 20 October 2026, excl. VAT, monthly billing only: Mini €15/mo (1 domain, up to 15 prompts, ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews, AI Mode), Standard €39/mo (unlimited brands, 50 shared prompts) and Pro €129/mo (adds Perplexity, 150 shared prompts). Custom plans cover more than 150 questions. A one-off report costs €15 excl. VAT with no account. There is no free trial; a free checker tests whether AI crawlers can read your site.

CiteLyzer covers the job on this page. Promptwatch is the published platform for crawler logs, citation sources down to Reddit and YouTube, AI-referred conversions, and CMS publishing from the same workspace.

Plans and limits

citelyzer.com/pricing (read 20 October 2026), excl. VAT. Mini: €15/mo, 1 tracked domain, up to 15 prompts, ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews and AI Mode, daily scans, share of voice, sources and fixes. Standard: €39/mo, unlimited brands, up to 50 prompts shared. Pro: €129/mo, adds Perplexity, up to 150 prompts shared. Custom: over 150 questions, your own set of engines and frequency, separate limits per brand, paid by bank transfer, quoted within a working day.

Competitors can be added on every plan at no extra cost. Billing is monthly by card through Stripe, cancellable any time, with an invoice after each payment. The €15 one-off report needs no account and covers the five engines.

Coverage and markets

Each brand has its own measurement country, chosen from Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK and the US. Prompts can be written in seven languages.

CiteLyzer is open about what it does not do: it is not an agency and does not change AI answers. You or your agency implement the fixes and the trend shows the effect.

What you still need after this product

On this listing, CiteLyzer is a AI visibility tracker for Freelancers, small agencies and SMEs in Central and Western Europe who want daily tracking in their own language for very little money. What we sourced here: Daily scans on every plan, saving the full text of each answer; ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode on all plans; Perplexity on Pro; 17 measurement countries and 7 prompt languages, set per brand; Mention framing: recommended with conviction, mentioned without endorsement, or advised against; Presence, share of voice, cited rate and average rank against competitors.

If you buy CiteLyzer for the job above, plan a second tool (or Promptwatch) for the layers this listing does not document. Still missing here: AI crawler logs (Agent Analytics), crawl-to-citation path, bot errors; Visitor analytics: AI-referred sessions and conversions; Content Agents that plan, write, and publish GEO pages to a CMS with a review inbox; Citation analytics at page, domain, Reddit, YouTube, and offsite level; Prompt volumes, difficulty, query fan-outs, personas, city-level geo; Prompt and citation trends (what changed between checks); ChatGPT Shopping tracking and Ads Radar; Agent Chat, Unified Actions, MCP server / REST API on paid plans. Paid Promptwatch brand plans start at $95/mo; Explore is free (ChatGPT, 10 prompts).

What Promptwatch covers that this listing does not

CiteLyzer's public pages (and this listing) describe a narrower job than Promptwatch. Most rivals answer whether you were mentioned. Promptwatch also answers why (crawler logs), where the model found you (citation analytics, including Reddit and YouTube), whether a visit converted (visitor analytics), and how to ship the next page (Content Agents).

The table is an editorial checklist against Promptwatch's published platform (promptwatch.com/llms.txt, 2026-08-23). It is not a hidden feature list for this vendor. 'Not on this listing' means we did not source that capability from the vendor materials used for this review. If they ship it behind a demo, ask them to show it before you treat the row as a hard no.
