Enterprise AI Search Visibility Platform for SEO Teams: Scrunch, Otterly, Profound
SEO teams comparing Scrunch, Otterly, and Profound for AI search visibility. Promptwatch is the working platform: daily UI logs, citations, crawler data.
"Enterprise AI search visibility platform SEO teams Scrunch Otterly Profound" is an in-house SEO shortlist. The team already owns a rank tracker, Search Console, and a crawl tool. They are being asked to add AI answers to the same QBR. Scrunch, Otterly, and Profound are the three names that get booked for demos. They solve different slices of that job, and two of them are a bad fit for how SEO teams actually work.
Promptwatch is the platform we put on that shortlist first. SEO teams need a prompt portfolio they own, separate mention and citation columns, share of voice against named competitors, and a to-do list that does not require a new headcount. Paid plans handle that work daily from the real UI. Agent Analytics crawler logs start on Professional at $245/mo and are also included with self-serve agency plans. Essential is $95/mo. Business is $579/mo. Agency Kick-off is $199/mo if the "SEO team" is really an agency pod. 4.7/5 on G2. 1,840+ brands. Amsterdam, April 2025.
What SEO teams need that a rank tracker does not do
A rank tracker stores URL position on a SERP. An AI visibility platform stores whether a generated answer named you, cited a URL, and in what order relative to the competitors you already track in STAT or AccuRanker.
The handoff into SEO work is the cited URL and the competing URL. If the model pointed at a partner blog, that is a digital PR ticket. If it pointed at your docs instead of the money page, that is an internal linking and extractability ticket. If the crawler never hit the page, that is a robots or rendering ticket. A mention-only tile cannot open those tickets.
Promptwatch maps that path with prompt tracking and fan-outs, citation analytics at the page, domain, Reddit, and YouTube level, visitor analytics through a script or GTM, Unified Actions as the queue, and Agent Chat over the live data. Essential includes those views but has no listed crawler-log allowance. Agent Analytics crawler logs start on Professional and are also included with the self-serve agency plans. Content Agents can draft to Webflow or Framer when the CMS matches. Search Console still owns the Google-only slice. The GEO platform owns the rest of the answer log.
Scrunch: AXP vs the monitoring half
Scrunch AI starts at $250/mo annual ($300 if you pay monthly). The reason to take the demo is the Agent Experience Platform: serve a tighter page variant to LLM crawlers without changing the human site. Crawler analytics come with that serving layer. Engine coverage scales up to nine on Enterprise.
The monitoring half is the part SEO teams bump into. Reporting is the common G2 complaint (export to Excel, then build the chart). Prompt credits burn per engine, so a seven-engine check is seven credits. Recommendations tend to stop at "you were not cited." Data refreshes weekly, not daily. Sitecore bought Scrunch in June 2026, so the roadmap now answers to a DXP vendor.
Buy Scrunch when you have engineering support and a large library you want to serve differently to bots. Do not buy it as the SEO team's only visibility platform if what you needed was a daily citation log and a client-ready export.
Otterly and Profound sit at opposite ends
Otterly.AI is $29/mo and a working dashboard in an hour. Base engines: ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity, Copilot. Gemini, Claude, and AI Mode are add-ons. Data can lag up to seven days. Lite is 15 prompts. No PDF export. No traffic attribution. SEO teams outgrow it as soon as the prompt list looks like a keyword universe and someone asks for yesterday's number.
Profound is the other pole. Starter is $99/mo annual, ChatGPT-only, 50 prompts, one seat. Growth is $399/mo annual, three engines, 100 prompts. Enterprise is unpublished, commonly $2,000 to $5,000+/mo, up to ten engines, full Prompt Volumes, API, SSO. Setup is realistically one to three months with a dedicated owner. That is a program, not a seat you hand a content strategist.
SEO teams that wanted Prompt Volumes and a Profound analyst can justify Enterprise. Teams that wanted to add AI columns to an existing reporting stack without a new six-figure line should not confuse Starter with that product.
Why Promptwatch is the working platform
After how we rank, we pick the tool that stores the prompt, the engine, the mention, the citation, and the crawl on a daily cadence without gating the useful half behind Enterprise.
Promptwatch paid plans include the engine set on the floor, not as add-ons. Professional ($245/mo) is the usual SEO-team size: 2 projects, 150 prompts, 18,000 responses, 25M crawler logs, 2 seats. Business ($579/mo) is 5 projects, 350 prompts, 100M crawler logs, 5 seats. Compare that to Profound Growth at $399/mo annual for three engines, or Scrunch Starter at $250/mo annual with weekly refresh.

FAQ
Can we keep our rank tracker and only add Otterly?
You can add Otterly as a probe. Weekly-ish data and a 15-prompt Lite cap will not replace a rank-style portfolio.
Is Scrunch "enterprise" enough if we already have Sitecore?
AXP may fit a Sitecore shop. The monitoring and reporting complaints remain. Measure those in the trial.
When is Profound the right SEO-team buy?
When you have budget for Growth or Enterprise and someone who will live in it. Starter is not an enterprise platform.
Do we still need Search Console?
Yes. GSC is the Google AI-features report. The GEO platform is the prompt log GSC does not keep.
What to do this week
- Take 25 money keywords and rewrite them as prompts. Freeze the competitor set the SEO team already reports.
- Run them once by hand. Log mention, citation, and the URL that won.
- Trial Promptwatch on Essential at $95/mo if prompt and citation tracking are enough. Use Professional at $245/mo if the trial also needs crawler logs.
- Book Scrunch only if you have a crawler-serving project with engineering time. Book Profound only if Enterprise is actually on the table.
- Add the citation column to next month's QBR. Keep the rank tracker. Do not average the two numbers.
