GeoRankers vs Rank Prompt (2026): Weekly SaaS scorecard or credit-metered toolbox?
GeoRankers is $49/mo for 30 prompts on three engines, run weekly. Rank Prompt starts at $39.17/mo billed annually for 150 credits across six engines plus articles. How to choose.
GeoRankers gives a B2B SaaS team a fixed weekly scorecard on three AI engines. Rank Prompt gives you a pool of credits to spend across six engines, articles, audits and outreach. One is a measurement routine with a to-do list. The other is a toolbox where tracking competes with everything else for the same budget.
Both sit in the same price band. We read GeoRankers' pricing page and llms.txt on 20 October 2026. Rank Prompt figures come from our catalog entry, based on its pricing page as reviewed on 12 September 2026.

How GeoRankers works
GeoRankers runs buyer-intent prompts across ChatGPT, Google AI Search and Perplexity, and scores each model separately for mention rate, position and framing. Not blending them is the right choice: a drop on Perplexity should not hide behind a good week on ChatGPT. Prompt sets must cover five buying intents (discovery, trust, pricing, use case and comparison).
Recommendations come from a rules engine applied to the tracked data, with AI only phrasing them, each scored for impact, confidence and effort. Content Hub labels pages as a content gap, needing optimization, or strong, and drafts outlines. A GEO Agent chat answers questions about your data, at $0.01 per conversation beyond the daily allowance.
Grow costs $159 a month or $129 billed quarterly for 60 prompts, 10 competitors, 3 seats, 3 on-demand runs, a 60-day trend and report export. Enterprise is custom.
Questions to ask before you buy:
- The pricing page shows only quarterly prices and no free plan. llms.txt lists monthly prices and mentions a Free plan. Which applies at checkout?
- Slack alerts, the Google Analytics and Search Console integrations and the API are all marked roadmap. Is there a date?
- Content Hub does not re-scan published pages on its own. You add a URL to Signal Tracker and wait for each model's recrawl.
- Gemini and Grok are listed as coming soon. Claude is not mentioned.
How Rank Prompt works
Rank Prompt meters everything in credits. One prompt across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Mode costs 1 credit. Gemini, Grok, ChatGPT Terra and Claude Search add 1 credit each. An article is 10 credits, and a brand audit is 10 plus 1 per citation page. Starter carries 150 credits, Pro 500 at $71.25 a month billed annually, Agency 1,000 at $149 monthly, and Agency Plus 2,000 at $299 monthly.
Around the tracker sits a wide set of extras: a hosted blog, WordPress publishing, GitHub pull requests, citation and backlink outreach through Gmail, Google Business Profile geo-grid maps, ChatGPT Ads management, an Agent Mode with a task board billed against a separate monthly AI budget, and an MCP server. Agency Plus adds a white-label client portal.
The procurement risk is the shared pool. A month with eight articles uses 80 of Starter's 150 credits, leaving 70 for tracking.
Who should pick which
Pick GeoRankers if you run marketing at a B2B SaaS company, want a weekly read on three engines for under $50, and like a rules-based task list you can hand to a writer. Accept that the history window is short and the integrations are not live yet.
Pick Rank Prompt if you are an agency or generalist marketer who wants one bill for tracking, articles, outreach and local grids, and you are disciplined about credit budgeting. Its six engines at entry level, Claude and Grok included, beat GeoRankers on coverage.
Neither tool publishes crawler logs or visitor analytics that tie AI referrals to conversions.
The Promptwatch option
Both tools stop at the answer. Promptwatch adds the two measurements around it. Agent Analytics shows which AI crawlers fetched the page GeoRankers told you to write or Rank Prompt generated, with the crawl-to-citation path and crawl errors. Visitor analytics, installed by script or GTM, counts the AI-referred visits and conversions that follow.
The tracking itself is also deeper. Prompts come with search volumes and difficulty scores, so you choose questions people actually ask, and query fan-outs show the sub-questions a model runs before answering. Refresh is daily on every paid plan, against weekly on GeoRankers. Essential at $95 a month includes 50 prompts and 5 AEO articles that publish through Content Agents to Webflow, Framer or WordPress. Professional at $245 adds 150 prompts, 25M crawler logs and 15 articles. Unlike a credit pool, articles do not eat your tracking.
Verdict
GeoRankers is the tidier tracker and Rank Prompt the bigger toolbox. For a SaaS team that only needs a weekly scorecard, GeoRankers Launch is fair value. For an agency selling many small services, Rank Prompt's credit model can work. A team that has to show what changed and what it was worth should start with Promptwatch Professional, which tracks daily and adds crawler and conversion data that neither of these publishes.
