OmniSEO alternatives in 2026: what to buy when five competitors isn't enough
OmniSEO caps both self-serve plans at five competitors and keeps six of its ten engines on the $349 plan. Five alternatives, ranked, with who each one fits.
OmniSEO is the AI visibility tracker from the WebFX and SEO.com group, and it gets two things right that plenty of rivals don't: the prices are published, and the 7-day trial doesn't ask for a card. Professional tracks ten answer engines, Meta AI, Grok and DeepSeek among them. For a lot of small teams that is enough.
The reasons people shop around show up once you read the plan table closely. We read it on 14 October 2026.
Why teams look past OmniSEO
The $89 Essentials plan covers four engines (Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT and Perplexity) and has no exports. Gemini, Claude, Copilot and the rest only arrive on Professional at $349 a month. That is a $260 jump, and it also takes you from 50 saved prompts to 100.
Both self-serve plans stop at five competitors. In a crowded category, five slots fill up before you've added the brand that keeps beating you in ChatGPT.
The trial only covers ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews, so you can't test the engines you'd be paying extra for. And the pages we read describe recommendations rather than execution. OmniSEO tells you which page to update or which source to get onto; the work is yours. Neither page mentions AI crawler logs, visitor analytics or CMS publishing.

The alternatives, ranked
1. Promptwatch
Promptwatch is where we'd start if the reason you're leaving is that OmniSEO stops at "here's what to fix." Essential is $95 a month for 50 prompts, 6,000 responses, 200K visitor events and five AEO articles. Professional at $245 is the closer match to OmniSEO Professional: 150 prompts instead of 100, two projects and 25M AI crawler logs, for $104 less a month. Crawler logs start on Professional, so don't expect them on Essential.
What changes is the kind of answer you get. Agent Analytics shows whether ChatGPTBot or PerplexityBot actually fetched a page before it was cited. Visitor analytics connects AI referrals to conversions through a script or GTM template. Content Agents plan and write GEO pages and publish them to Webflow or Framer through a review inbox. Prompts also carry search volumes, difficulty scores and query fan-outs, none of which OmniSEO's listing documents.
OmniSEO still wins on seats. Essentials includes five and Professional ten, while Promptwatch Essential has one and Professional two. If lots of people need logins and nobody needs crawler data, weigh that.
2. AthenaHQ
AthenaHQ is built around an Action Center that turns visibility gaps into assignable tasks such as schema generation and content reformatting. Starter is $295 a month ($245 on annual billing) with nine engines on its plan listing, API access and unlimited seats. Usage runs on credits, Starter covers a single country, and personas and multi-region sit on Enterprise.
3. Scrunch AI
Scrunch starts at $250 a month on annual billing, with 350 custom prompts plus 1,000 industry prompts and three seats. Its unusual piece is the Agent Experience Platform, which serves AI-optimized versions of your pages to LLM crawlers, and it lists crawler traffic analytics. Data refreshes weekly, and prompt credits are consumed per engine, so multi-engine tracking drains the allowance faster than the headline number suggests.
4. LLM Pulse
LLM Pulse is the low-cost answer if seats were what drew you to OmniSEO. Starter is €49 a month on annual billing for 50 prompts on five engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, AI Mode and AI Overviews), with unlimited seats and an MCP server. Default cadence is weekly. Claude, Copilot, Grok, DeepSeek and Meta AI are Enterprise add-ons.
5. Keyword.com AI Visibility
Keyword.com suits agencies that already track Google rankings and want a small, metered AI panel next to them. Its docs list six engines, and every plan includes unlimited users and projects, a REST API and an MCP server. The $9.80 entry buys 20 credits, roughly five prompts on four chat engines at a weekly refresh. Credits reset monthly and don't roll over.
How to choose
Start with the question you can't answer today. If it's "which engines mention us," OmniSEO Professional, LLM Pulse or Keyword.com will get you there, and the choice comes down to seats, cadence and how many competitors you need to watch.
If it's "why did that answer change" or "did the AI traffic convert," you need crawler logs and visitor analytics. Promptwatch is the tool on this list that publishes both in self-serve plans, which is why it ranks first here.
Teams that want software to hand them work should trial AthenaHQ's Action Center against Promptwatch's Content Agents, using the same 20 prompts in both.
