Veesie review (2026): A weekly Belgian GEO tracker that measures in Dutch and French
Veesie starts at 29 EUR/mo excl. VAT and measures each question in Dutch, French or English for Belgium, the Netherlands or Luxembourg. What a buyer gets, and where Promptwatch goes further.
Veesie is a GEO monitoring tool made in Belgium for the Belgian and Dutch market. Its most useful feature is a small one with large consequences for a bilingual country: every question can be set in Dutch, French or English, for Belgium, the Netherlands or Luxembourg. A Brussels company that sells to both language communities can see whether ChatGPT names it in Ghent and in Liège.
It is built by founder Frederiek Pascal and his team. Frederiek also runs the digital agency ClickForest, but Veesie is sold as its own brand. We read veesie.com/pricing and the method pages on 20 October 2026.
What it does and who it is for
Once a week, Veesie sends your questions to ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews with the model's search function switched on. From the Plus plan it adds Claude and Gemini, and it asks those two each question up to three times and keeps the majority answer. For each answer it records whether your brand is named, its position, the context, the sentiment and the sources the model cited.
All of that rolls up into a GEO Score from 0 to 100: mention rate counts for 50%, sentiment 25%, source coverage 15% and position 10%. The score uses the three base engines only. Claude and Gemini results appear next to it but never count.
The fit is a Belgian or Dutch SME that wants a cheap, regular check on whether AI assistants mention it, especially in French and Dutch.

What works
The language handling is the main reason to buy. Most trackers let you pick a country. Veesie lets you pick the language per question and passes the market to the model, which is how a bilingual Belgian buyer actually searches.
The documentation is unusually open. Veesie explains why it runs weekly with its own variance test from 25 August 2026: five runs on one site with 12 questions scored 85, 87, 84, 88 and 85. It names the providers it calls (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity, and DataForSEO for AI Overviews), and it says plainly that its results are a measurement through those providers, not a copy of what a user sees in the app. Account data, questions and answers sit in a Supabase database in Frankfurt, with sensitive fields encrypted using AES-256, while the providers and the job runner Inngest process partly in the US under EU standard contractual clauses.
Read-only report links last 90 days, and every plan has email and webhook alerts.
What to check before paying
- Weekly is the maximum refresh on every plan, Agency included. Biweekly and monthly are options. More often is not.
- The question sets are small. Starter has 20, Plus 30, and Pro's 50 are shared across two sites.
- Starter and the trial skip Claude and Gemini, and the GEO Score never counts those two engines even when you pay for them.
- Agency at 450 EUR is "on request", so check what the contract looks like.
- Veesie's own index is not traffic. Only the GA4 connection on Pro links mentions to visitors, using read-only access to your Analytics account.
Where it falls short against a full AI visibility platform
A weekly mention index answers "do we show up?" It does not answer "why not?" Veesie describes no AI crawler logs, so you cannot see whether GPTBot or PerplexityBot fetched the page you rewrote last week. Its source data shows which sites the model cited, but not at the page, Reddit or YouTube level that tells you exactly which thread or video to influence. And with 20 to 50 questions measured weekly, separating a real shift from noise takes a while.
When Promptwatch is the better buy
If your Belgian or Dutch brand has moved past "do we show up" and needs to find out why, Promptwatch is the next step, and it is Amsterdam-based with EUR prices available. Country-level tracking is on every plan, so Belgium and the Netherlands can be tracked separately. Refresh is daily on all paid plans rather than weekly.
Essential at $95 a month covers 50 prompts across all tracked LLMs, 6,000 responses, citation analytics, 200K visitor events and 5 AEO articles. That is the same question count as Veesie Pro, refreshed seven times as often. Professional at $245 adds what Veesie lacks most: Agent Analytics, with 25M crawler logs showing which AI bots read which pages and where crawls fail, plus 150 prompts, 2 projects and state and city tracking. An agency running several Belgian clients would compare Veesie Agency with Promptwatch's Kick-off plan at $199 a month, which includes unlimited projects and prompts and 10 seats.
Verdict
Veesie is an honest, well-documented weekly tracker, and its Dutch and French measurement per question is a real advantage for Belgian brands. Starter or Plus is a sensible first look. The limits are deliberate: weekly runs, small question sets and a score built on three engines. When you need to diagnose and act rather than watch, Promptwatch Professional covers the crawler logs, page-level citations and conversions that Veesie leaves out.
