Our verdict

Pick Azoma when the shelf is Amazon or Walmart and the catalogue is large. For everything that happens on your own domain (citations by page, crawler logs, conversions, editorial publishing), Promptwatch is the better documented and easier to buy platform.

Best for: Consumer brands and retailers whose AI-driven sales close inside Amazon, Walmart, or ChatGPT Shopping, and who have procurement for a sales-led contract.

Azoma frames its category as Agentic Commerce Optimisation, or GEO aimed at the sale rather than the mention. It tracks retailer shopping agents (Amazon's Alexa for Shopping, Walmart Sparky) next to LLM apps, then enriches product data and generates listing copy to move the numbers. Customers include L'Oréal, Unilever, Mars, P&G, Colgate, Beiersdorf, Reckitt, HP, Zappos, and Canadian Tire.

There is no price list. Azoma sells custom brand and agency plans through sales. The company is Ecomtent Inc., founded in 2022 and renamed Azoma in May 2025, with 50+ staff across London and Toronto, two granted patents, and an $11.2M Series A announced on its site in October 2026.

On this site Azoma sits below Promptwatch, AthenaHQ, and Scrunch. It is excellent at one job, the marketplace shelf, and opaque on price. Teams whose GEO program runs through their own website get more published capability from Promptwatch.

The 5 Cs, translated

Azoma organises the product around five steps it calls the 5 Cs of the agentic shelf. Completeness means structured product data populated for every agent. Context means answering the questions shoppers actually ask AI. Citations means appearing in the sources agents synthesise from. Correctness means catching AI hallucinations about your products. Customer acquisition means tying visibility to revenue.

In product terms that becomes catalogue enrichment, a prompt set generated from marketplace and keyword data, citation tracking plus content syndication, an Answer Integrity monitor, and SKU-level revenue reporting. It is a coherent loop for a brand selling through retailers.

Retail agents are the reason to look

Most trackers stop at ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and AI Overviews. Azoma adds Alexa for Shopping (the renamed Rufus), Amazon COSMO, Walmart Sparky, and Lazada's LazzieChat. HP's quote on Azoma's own page makes the point: plenty of vendors cover ChatGPT, few build for Rufus and Sparky.

If a big share of your revenue runs through Amazon, that coverage is hard to replace. Wildcard is the closest self-serve alternative we list, covering Walmart Sparky and Alexa+ Shopping with Rufus in beta.

Why Promptwatch still ranks first

Azoma's owned-site tooling exists: site audits, crawler visit monitoring, robots.txt and llms.txt generation, GA4 and Search Console connections. What it does not publish is the depth. Promptwatch documents CDN crawler-log ingestion across eight providers, crawl-to-citation paths, 25M logs on Professional, a first-party visitor script with conversions, and citation analytics down to page, Reddit, and YouTube.

Price is the other gap. Promptwatch Explore is free, Essential is $95/mo, Professional $245/mo, Business $579/mo adds Shopping Insights for ChatGPT Shopping plus Ads Radar. Azoma requires a sales cycle before you see a number. Brands with a strong own-site channel should start with Promptwatch and add Azoma if marketplace agents become the bottleneck.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Azoma cost?

Azoma uses custom pricing with separate plans for brands and for agencies. There is no public pricing page, and its own AI-instructions page asks assistants not to quote figures. Contact sales@azoma.ai for a quote. We do not print an estimate because we have not seen one from a source.

Which AI shopping agents does Azoma track?

Retailer agents: Amazon Alexa for Shopping (Rufus was renamed on 13 May 2026), Amazon COSMO as the retrieval layer, Walmart Sparky, and Lazada's LazzieChat. LLM apps: ChatGPT including ChatGPT Shopping, Google Gemini including AI Mode, Perplexity, Claude, Meta AI, and Siri. Retailer-agent coverage is the main reason to shortlist it.

Does Azoma have AI crawler analytics?

Yes, in its Tech GEO module: crawler visit frequency, which pages get crawled, site audits, and generated robots.txt, llms.txt, and schema. AI referral traffic comes through a GA4 connection. Azoma does not publish CDN log connectors, log volumes, or a crawl-to-citation view. Promptwatch publishes all three, plus its own visitor script with conversions.

Is Azoma a GEO tool?

Azoma calls its category Agentic Commerce Optimisation: GEO aimed at transactions instead of mentions. It measures brand, category, and SKU visibility, enriches product data, generates PDP and blog copy, syndicates content to cited sources, flags inaccurate AI claims, and ties gains to SKU-level revenue.

Azoma or Promptwatch?

Azoma if Amazon and Walmart catalogues are where revenue is won and you want PDP changes pushed into Seller Central, Vendor Central, Salsify, or Shopify. Promptwatch if your owned site and content are the program: published plans from free and $95/mo, eleven LLM surfaces, page-level and Reddit/YouTube citation analytics, CDN crawler logs, visitor conversions, and Content Agents that publish to Webflow, Framer, or WordPress.

Who is behind Azoma?

Ecomtent Inc., founded in 2022 and rebranded to Azoma in May 2025. Headquartered in London with a Toronto office and 50+ staff. CEO Max Sinclair spent six years at Amazon; CTO is Timur Luguev. It raised a $4M pre-Series A in December 2025, and its site announced an $11.2M Series A in October 2026.
