Best AI Visibility Platforms With Visitor Analytics and Conversion Tracking in 2026
Which AI visibility platforms connect ChatGPT and Perplexity mentions to visits and conversions in 2026, ranked by how far the attribution actually goes.
Sooner or later someone in finance asks what all this AI visibility work is worth. A share-of-voice chart doesn't answer that. What answers it is a line that starts at "ChatGPT mentioned us," runs through "someone clicked," and ends at "they signed up or bought." Most AI visibility tools stop at the first step. This guide is about the platforms that go further, ranked by how much of that line they actually draw.
The rule for getting on the list: the tool's catalog entry has to state AI-referred traffic or conversion tracking as a feature it ships. A generic "GA4 integration" bullet with nothing about AI channels doesn't count. Neither does a tool that only shows sessions and calls it attribution. Where a tool stops at sessions, we say so.
Sessions, conversions, and revenue are three different claims
Vendors use "attribution" for three things that are not the same.
Sessions are the easy part. A visit arrives with a referrer from chatgpt.com or perplexity.ai, or with the utm_source=chatgpt.com tag that OpenAI documents for links in ChatGPT answers, and the tool counts it. That tells you AI is sending people. It tells you nothing about whether they were the right people.
Conversions are harder. The tool has to follow that visitor to a goal event (a signup, a demo request, a checkout) and keep the AI source attached. That takes either your own analytics setup or a first-party script that records the visit and the event together.
Revenue is the hardest. It means joining the visit to an order or a payment, which usually needs Shopify, Stripe, or a CRM connection.
There's also a fourth piece most buyers forget: the prompt. Knowing that ChatGPT sent 40 conversions last month is useful. Knowing which questions people asked before they clicked, and which of your pages got cited in those answers, is what tells you what to do next. A tool with conversions and no prompt data can't tell you that.
Checklist before you book a demo
- Does the tool record AI visits itself (a script or tag), or does it read them out of your GA4 property?
- Can it attach a conversion event to an AI source, or only count sessions?
- Does it show which prompts and cited pages sit upstream of that traffic?
- What's the visitor-event or session allowance on the plan you'd actually buy?
- Is attribution on the entry plan, or gated behind a sales call?
1. Promptwatch
Promptwatch is the only platform on this list that draws the whole line in one product. Visitor analytics records AI-referred traffic and conversions through a lightweight script or a Google Tag Manager template, so it doesn't depend on how your GA4 property happens to be configured. On the same project you have prompt tracking across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Copilot and Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, plus citation analytics down to the page, Reddit, and YouTube level. When conversions from ChatGPT rise, you can open the prompts and the cited pages that sit behind them.
The other half is Agent Analytics. Crawler logs show which pages ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, and PerplexityBot fetched and whether those fetches failed. That gives you the full path: bot reads the page, model cites it, a person clicks, the person converts. No other tool here publishes all four steps.
Visitor events scale with the plan: 200K on Essential ($95/mo), 1M on Professional ($245/mo), and 10M on Business ($579/mo). Crawler logs start on Professional at 25M. The free Explore plan is 10 ChatGPT prompts and doesn't include visitor analytics, so attribution is a paid feature.
2. AthenaHQ
AthenaHQ lists GA4, Shopify, and Webflow revenue attribution next to its GEO score and Action Center. If you sell through Shopify, that's a real revenue connection rather than a session count. It starts at $295/mo on a credit model.
What you don't get is the bot side. Its catalog entry says there's no crawler analytics and no Reddit monitoring, and the attribution runs through GA4 rather than a first-party AI visitor script. Starter is also single-country, which matters if your conversions come from several markets.
3. Proofsource
Proofsource gets closest to the full path among the smaller tools. Its AI Traffic feature reads crawler requests from Cloudflare or a log drain, lines crawled pages up with the answers that cite them, and adds GA4 referrals and conversions. Pricing is per brand and per question, from $9/mo.
Two catches from its own listing: the GA4 referral and conversion data is set up by the Proofsource team on a call, not connected in the app, and only four engines are self-serve. Budget the call into your evaluation.
4. Wildcard
Wildcard is built for retailers. Its revenue attribution covers AI referral sessions, add-to-carts, checkouts, and revenue by platform, with first-click and last-click views. That's the deepest commerce attribution in this catalog. Basic is $99/mo.
It's commerce-only by design, Basic refreshes weekly, and self-serve publishing is Shopify. If you aren't selling products, it isn't for you.
5. Amplitude AI Visibility
Amplitude AI Visibility comes at the problem from the analytics side. AI-referred traffic sits inside Amplitude's funnels, conversions, and revenue, and you can watch those visitors in Session Replay. It's included on every Amplitude plan, including Free.
The visibility half is thin. Amplitude's FAQ says it tracks ChatGPT and Google AI Overview only, you can't change the models, and prompt capacity isn't published. A good fit if your product team already lives in Amplitude, but not a full AI visibility program.
6. Attrifast
Attrifast joins first-party sessions to real Stripe and Shopify payments and splits ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and Copilot into separate revenue lines. From $9.99/mo, it's the cheapest way to see AI revenue that isn't an estimate.
Its prompt tracking is small: 10 prompts scanned every 30 days on Starter, 30 every 10 days on Pro. Treat it as an attribution tool with a visibility add-on, not the other way round.
7. Passionfruit
Passionfruit pulls sessions, key events, and revenue per AI channel from your Google Analytics connection and shows them next to page-level citation tracking. From $19/mo for ChatGPT only.
Its listing is clear that revenue depends entirely on your GA setup and that there's no first-party visitor script. Google AI Overviews only shows up on the custom Enterprise plan.
8. Siteimprove Advanced AEO Insights
Siteimprove lists AI-referred visitor behavior and revenue attribution in its launch release. Its own measurement guide calls AI attribution an estimate, and there's no published price. Worth a look if you already run Siteimprove for accessibility and SEO. Ask on the demo which of the two descriptions is accurate.
Sessions only: worth knowing, not ranked
Some tools count AI visits without documenting conversions. Paprik AI shows GA4 AI referral sessions on every plan, from $49/mo. Surva.ai tracks human visits from AI answers with a JavaScript snippet on all plans. Known Agents tracks chat referrals by page and country but doesn't run prompts at all. All three say conversion tracking isn't documented on the pages we read.
Profound, Scrunch AI, Otterly.AI, and Peec AI are not on this list. Each of their catalog entries states there is no published visitor analytics tying AI-referred traffic to conversions.

Who should pick which
If you need to show finance the whole chain from bot crawl to conversion, start with Promptwatch. If you're a Shopify brand that wants revenue next to an action queue and can live without crawler logs, AthenaHQ. If budget is tight and you're fine with a setup call, Proofsource. Retailers who want order-level attribution should look at Wildcard. Teams already on Amplitude get a free starting point. If you only want AI revenue joined to Stripe, Attrifast is cheap and honest about what it is.
The recommendation
Attribution without the prompt is a number you can report but can't act on. Attribution without the crawl can't tell you why a page stopped converting. The deciding factor here is usually that Promptwatch records the visit and the conversion itself and keeps the prompts, citations, and crawler logs on the same project, so the question "where did this revenue come from?" has an answer you can trace backwards. Set it up on one site with the GTM template and compare against GA4 for a month: Promptwatch.
