10 best AI visibility tools for Shopify stores (2026)

Ten AI visibility tools for Shopify stores, from free apps like FoundInAI to Promptwatch's ChatGPT Shopping tracking. Prices read 20 October 2026, with the one limit that matters for each.

A Shopify store has two separate problems with AI search. The first is measurement: when someone asks ChatGPT or Perplexity for the best running shoes under $150, are your products in the answer, and do they show up in ChatGPT's shopping results? The second is readability: can those engines actually parse your catalogue, with schema, feeds and llms.txt in order, or do they skip it?

Very few tools do both well. Shopify apps tend to fix the store and track a handful of prompts. Visibility platforms tend to measure well and leave the store edits to you. This list covers both kinds, so you can see which half each one handles.

How we picked

We started from our catalog and kept only tools whose entries document Shopify support or ecommerce-specific features: catalogue sync, SKU tracking, shopping surfaces, or publishing into a Shopify store. Prices and limits come from each vendor's own pages, read on 20 October 2026, or from our existing catalog entry for that tool. Where a vendor's pages contradict each other, we say so. Rank order reflects how much of the measurement job a tool covers, because a fix you can't measure is a guess.

The list

1. Promptwatch

Promptwatch is the measurement layer we'd put under any Shopify store. It tracks prompts daily across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Copilot, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode by monitoring the real interfaces. For a store, two features matter most. ChatGPT Shopping tracking follows your products in ChatGPT's shopping results, and Ads Radar tracks sponsored placements. Citation analytics shows which review sites, Reddit threads and YouTube videos the engines rely on, and visitor analytics ties AI-referred sessions to conversions through a script or GTM template.

Essential costs $95 a month (50 prompts, 6,000 responses, 200K visitor events), with a free Explore tier. The limit: Promptwatch has no Shopify publishing integration. Content Agents publish to WordPress, Webflow and Framer, so pair it with a store-side tool from this list.

2. Wildcard

Wildcard is built for retailers rather than SaaS. It syncs your catalogue from Shopify through GraphQL, or from BigCommerce, Salesforce or a PIM, then runs buyer questions with real search volume across ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Claude. It also covers Walmart Sparky and Alexa+ Shopping, with Amazon Rufus in beta. Each answer is stored with the products named, their rank and the cited sources. Actions such as PDP optimisation, collection pages and schema enrichment can publish to Shopify, and revenue is attributed first-click and last-click per AI surface.

Basic is $99 a month for 10 actions, 50 prompts and 20 products. The limit: Basic refreshes weekly and tracks only 20 products.

3. Ranketta

Ranketta tracks which products AI assistants recommend at SKU level, then enriches your catalogue so those assistants have more to read. Shopify is one of the commerce surfaces it names, next to Shoptet, Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, Amazon and others. Store Tracker costs €29 a month for 2 models, 30 prompts per model and a daily refresh. Store Starter at €79 adds product data enrichment with 5,000 credits and 2 articles a month. Content Studio drafts need human approval, and Cloudflare edge logging records AI bot visits.

The limit: the compare pages on Ranketta's own site quote different prices from its pricing page, so treat checkout as the real quote.

4. SignalKit

SignalKit asks nine AI platforms every prompt, from ChatGPT and Perplexity to Grok, DeepSeek and Copilot, for $39 a month for 10 prompts plus $3 per extra prompt. For a store, the useful extras are product catalogue checks, which alert you when an AI answer quotes a wrong price or fact, and the Content & Growth add-on, which drafts pages and publishes them to Shopify. The add-on costs $99 a month managed. API, MCP and unlimited seats come in the base price.

The limit: six of the nine platforms are queried through APIs, which SignalKit itself says are close to, but not identical to, what shoppers see in the apps.

5. Geostar

Geostar is a GEO agency for Shopify and ecommerce brands that also sells its tracking platform on its own. The managed work covers PDP rewrites, schema and llms.txt, content and off-site citations. Reporting reconciles GA4 sessions with Shopify orders to estimate AI-attributed revenue. The platform's Lite plan is $249 a month billed yearly and covers Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, 6,000 prompt executions a month, one region and what Geostar calls agent analytics, a view of which AI bots visit which pages.

The limit: Lite keeps only 30 days of history, the monthly-billing price isn't shown, and the homepage results are anonymous quotes.

6. Surfient

Surfient is a Shopify app that audits 80+ checkpoints across products, collections and policy pages, then ships the fixes through the Shopify API: schema through a Theme App Extension, AI-written FAQs, catalogue rewrites, llms.txt, ai-sitemap.xml and an NDJSON product feed, all with previews and rollback. Premium costs $39 a month and adds a Hallucination Guard and GA4 revenue attribution. Monitoring covers 25 prompts on Perplexity, ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews. There's also a free plan.

The limit: the App Store link on Surfient's site returned a 404 on 20 October 2026, and its pages disagree on how many engines it monitors. Confirm you can install it.

7. FoundInAI

FoundInAI is a Shopify app that checks which of your SKUs AI engines recommend. Daily citation checks run 5 a day on Basic ($9 a month, ChatGPT and Perplexity), 15 on Starter ($19, five engines including Claude, Gemini and Grok) and 25 on Pro ($49, with SKU-level tracking). It scores readiness signals such as robots.txt, canonicals and schema, and generates llms.txt, llms-full.txt and an agents.md file for Shopify's Agentic Storefront. GA4 attribution starts on Starter. Every paid plan has a 7-day trial.

The limit: it launched on 3 August 2026 with no reviews yet, and the homepage's "$0 to $99" pricing doesn't match the listing.

8. LLMagnet

LLMagnet is an AI visibility plugin for WordPress and Shopify. On Shopify it generates llms.txt and llms-full.txt, records AI bot visits from ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and others, adds Schema JSON-LD helpers and gives a visibility score with a short prompt-tracking quota. The Shopify App Store lists a Free plan with 500 sessions a month and auto llms.txt, then $29 and $79 a month for 10,000 and 100,000 sessions with 30- or 90-day retention.

The limit: LLMagnet's WordPress price sheet and its Shopify listing don't match, and prompt tracking is a small add-on rather than the core product. Use the Shopify sheet if you're on Shopify.

9. Yoast AI Brand Insights

Yoast AI Brand Insights comes bundled with Yoast SEO AI+. On Shopify that plan costs $45 a month, against $19 for the plain Yoast Shopify plan. Once a week it asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude up to five brand questions and reports an AI Visibility Index out of 100, built from mentions, ranking, citations and sentiment. You also get cited URLs, a competitor ranking and a trend view, all in the browser through MyYoast.

The limit: five questions a week is a very small sample, and each extra brand needs its own subscription.

10. Goodie AI

Goodie AI works on the content side. It grades existing pages for how easily AI can extract answers from them, recommends specific edits (answer-block length, schema, entity clarity) and tracks citation lift afterwards. The ecommerce angle is in the upper tier. Explorer costs $399 a month for 3 engines and 100 prompts, while the quote-only Pro tier adds Gemini, Copilot and Amazon Rufus.

The limit: the engines a retailer cares about beyond the first three, Rufus included, sit behind a sales call.

Also considered

Trackbase has a ChatGPT Shopping module as a paid add-on and names Shopify among its integrations. GetMint tracks ChatGPT Shopping and Alexa for Shopping. AIShortlist lists a Shopify app that was still in review. Daydream builds programmatic page systems on retainers from about $15K a month, which is beyond most Shopify budgets.

Who should pick which

If you need to report AI revenue to the business, start with Promptwatch and add a store-side tool. If your catalogue is large and you want SKU-level tracking with catalogue sync, look at Wildcard or Ranketta. If your problem is that engines can't read the store at all, Surfient or FoundInAI handle schema, feeds and llms.txt cheaply. Check that Surfient is installable before you buy. If you'd rather hand the work to an agency, Geostar is built for Shopify. And if you already pay for Yoast, its Brand Insights gives you a weekly check at no extra effort.

Where to start

Most Shopify merchants on this list will end up running two tools: one that edits the store, and one that tells them whether the edits worked. The second job is the one to get right first, because it decides what the first tool should change. Promptwatch's ChatGPT Shopping tracking, citation analytics and conversion tracking make it the measurement side of that pair. Start on the free Explore tier at promptwatch.com.
